BASIN BLOCKER INSTALLATION
1. Use grate hooks to lift the grate and set to the side.
2. Slide each lifting rod through the Basin Blocker’s lifting sleeves so that they are parallel to each other.
3. Lower the Basin Blocker into the basin making sure that all of the lifting sleeves are lying flat and will be above the grate. (This will insure that all the overflow areas will function properly.)
4. Use the grate hooks to pick up grate and place back on top of the Basin Blocker bag.
5. Double check so as to make sure the flaps are out of the grate lining and the overflow areas can be seen.
All BMP’s (Best Management Practices) need to be monitored and serviced regularly to prevent debris and sediment from reaching the overflows.
